Purchase: I bought this helmet without even trying it on, I just liked the look of it and lots of other people had it so I thought I'd like it myself. I bought it at a small tack store called Pets Plus as a replacement helmet for myself.
Likes: I like that it wasn't too expensive, that the velveteen, or whatever it is comes clean pretty easily, and also stays pretty clean. I sometimes like how it has a dial, it is good if someone needs to borrow you helmet for a short while as the head size can change.
Dislikes: I don't like that you can't put your hair up into your helmet, as the dial gets in the way and made my head ache after about ten minutes. If you are showing you have to wear a hair bow for better comfort, it is hard with that too as the helmet comes down far on the back of your head with basically no room for the hair bow.
Quality: The Quality I think is pretty good as my helmet stands up with all the ruffness of dropping and such, as we do not have a tack room in our trailer, we have to put all our stuff in the back of our suburban that pulls the trailer. But I do have to say, my sister has the same helmet and the dial went on hers, but the IRH company just sent a new one out to our house for no cost what so ever.
Summary: I think if you were to look into this helmet, DO try it on, as I have heard that it makes some riders heads numb, including mine, but only sometimes. This is a good helmet for riders not wanting to pay lots but wanting to have a good looking helmet.
