Purchase: I bought this bridle at the Antares booth at a show. I had a hard time finding a bridle to fit my oversize gelding. I looked at several other brands an none of them came with a big enough browband/headstall. I really wanted a high quality bridle, fancy stitched and padded. I paid $510 which included the matching reins. I had contacted the company before seeing this at the show. They were extremely helpful and great to work with!
Likes: This bridle is the whole package! It has the softest, most beautiful supple leather I have ever seen on a bridle. The padding is just perfect and soft. Even the crown is padded and the reins are fancy stitched to match. After looking at all the top brands of the highest quality, none of them can compare! The color is very nice, and has darken to perfectly match my other tack. The fancy stitch is subtle but pretty, making the overall look perfect for the hunter ring.
Dislikes: Don't like? Is it possible with something so beautiful to not like? The price may be steep, but it is well worth it. I would have gladly paid even more for it!
Quality: The overall craftsmanship is top-notch, and the company rep was fantastic. The stitching is beautiful and well done. The leather is just exquisite! I can not say enough nice things about this bridle. It has held up to the challenge of everyday riding as well as being a show bridle. It still looks new.
Summary: Overall, I think this bridle is worth its weight in gold. You can not go wrong with this bridle. From its fantastic design, to the tiniest details, this is a true A-circuit bridle. It doesn't get better than the beauty and function of this bridle. I would gladly buy another one!
