Purchase: I bought this pad at the Road to the Horse Expo about a year ago.
Likes: Easy to clean. The top felt pad and the foam pad are velcroed together for easy cleaning.
Dislikes: I bought the pad to help me fit my saddle to a variety of different horses. I have noticed that on all three saddles, this pad leaves dry spots. Also, one horse that I ride every day is developing white spots.
Quality: The felt portion of the pad with the flex/pressure plates is great. But I can't see any benefit to saddle fit. The foam portion of the pad is cracking and splitting and breaking down. Also, it has flattened out to half its original thickness.
Summary: I bought two of these pads for $250. each thinking they would be great for our long rides on the trail, however, I have found out that they just don't work in relieving the pressure on the horses back. If I could rewind and go back I would not have put my money in these pads. I have contacted the company but no one will return my calls.......
