Purchase: The bridle and reins were a gift, so all I know is that they were VERY pricey. They were apparently purchased in a high-end tack store in Fort Langley, B.C. This is intended for use as my ‘A’ hunter/jumper show bridle.
Likes: Basically… EVERYTHING. CWD pre-oils their bridles, so there’s no fussing around with that at home, and inevitably screwing up. They’re a lovely color, especially when they darken with age (just to match my Hermes Steinkraus). They are soft, but not too soft, and everything is perfectly stitched and put together. It’s possible to get a “custom” fit, too, because they allow different sized pieces to be mixed around. Oh, and did I mention on top of all this it looks GORGEOUS on and off my horse? Because it does!
Dislikes: I have yet to find anything. And I am fussy.
Quality: Absolutely perfect - tight stitching, wonderful leather, workable buckles, nice soft padding. It looks like it will last a long, long time.
Summary: If you can afford it, buy it! There are absolutely lovely and worth the money. CWD outdid themselves!
