Purchase: After trying several expensive saddles, I tried the Dover International - I needed a Wide tree for my flat-backed Quarter/Draft cross. This saddle is not only comfortable, but the leather broke in beautifully.
Likes: Easy to break in and excellent quality. Ten years later the saddle is still in awesome condition. I oil and clean regularly but don't keep my tack in AC. Except for normal billet strap wear, the saddle looks only a few years old. Dover doesn't make this saddle any longer, but if you come across one, try it as it's comfortable (seat) and works for big or small jumps. I break and train babies and it has worked all these years for me!
Dislikes: No longer available. Sometimes can feel girth buckle if too high.
Quality: Very solid construction.
Summary: If you come across one and need something relatively inexpensive but well constructed, buy it - It lasts and will make you feel and look good!
