Purchase: I own a very hard mouthed jumper who takes a Dr. britsol copper twist bit. After purchasing a soft mouth hunter, I needed a new bit besides all my harsher bits for my jumper (i had a corkscrew dee ring and a short shanked flexible rubber pelham). My hunter had been previously ridden in a KK Ultra D ring bit, but i didn't have the money to buy that after buying all new stuff for my new Warmblood sized horse (new bridle, girth, martingale, blankets, feed, boots, etc). This bit looked close enough on the dover site.
Likes: Everything. This bit works just as well as the KK Ultra did on her. She likes it, and the copper gets her on the bit more than a regular snaffle. She does perfectly well in this.
Dislikes: Its not a KK ultra, so its stainless steel, not german silver.
Quality: Very well made. The design is very functional!
