Purchase: I bought this leather cleaner/conditioner from a local tack shop for about $12. I had just purchased a brand new saddle and needed a good, quality leather conditioner to help with the breaking-in process.
Likes: I like that this cream cleans the leather well and makes it look nice and shiny. In the way of conditioning, it really doesn't do too much. It does last a long time though....I have had the same jar for about a year and I use it almost bi-weekly.
Dislikes: I bought my saddle almost a year ago and have cleaned it after almost every ride. The leather creaks louder than any other saddle I have ever heard. It's not like it's low-quality leather....its a Pessoa! But Leather CPR has really let me down here. I would expect the leather to be completely broken in by now...obviously, but it is NOT.
Quality: Leather CPR comes in a sturdy plastic jar with a screw-on lid. There is a little place for the sponge inside of the lid of the jar. The product itself is a white gel-cream kind of substance that you massage into the leather with a sponge.
Summary: I would not buy this product again. I am going to be buying a deep conditioner...people have suggested Lexol or Leather Therapy. I would not recommend this product for conditioning leather.
