Purchase: After searching many sites for winter riding pants, I purchased these from the Michigan online retailer Caballo Designs. I liked that they were made in the US, liked the style, liked the materials. I paid $99.95 plus shipping and waited about 6 weeks for them to arrive.
Likes: These are the most comfortable riding pants I have ever owned and, thus far, have been very warm. I have been out in temperatures below 20 F and my legs have been warm without long underwear under these pants. They block the wind well and don't ride up like my Kerrits. I wish I could have another pair just to wear for lounging indoors in the winter (although they might be too warm). They don't look obviously out of place when I where them away from the barn.
Dislikes: I can't think of anything I don't like. They only come in black, but that's my favorite color for pants anyway.
Quality: The outer fabric blocks the wind and doesn't hold on to hair or hay. The inner layer is very soft fleece. They wash well and seem very durable too.
Summary: I would definitely recommend these pants for winter riding.
