Purchase: I recently purchased a used Martin Western saddle that I believe to be a reining saddle.
Likes: I thought it was a gorgeous saddle with beautiful tooling, quality conchoes and hardware, very well crafted, and the seat was very well balanced.
Dislikes: I did not like how wide and bulky it felt between my legs. I was looking for closer contact and it did not have that. It was also about 40 lbs. so way too heavy for me!
Summary: If someone doesn't mind the weight and the bulky feeling between the legs, it would make an excellent saddle.
Usefulness Rating: 3.33333 out of 5.
