Purchase: Shepler's, price was about $100
Likes: These boots are very comfortable out of the box, require very little breaking in. Have only had them 6 months but I wear them all day/everyday for farm chores, riding, etc. I find them quite easy to get on/off. These boots have a composite outsole which is very grippy on all surfaces.
Dislikes: I was shocked when they arrived and I saw they were made in China. They have less of a western styling than other brands of ropers and look more like motorcycle boots. The leather especially on the lowers is very thick which makes the boot quite hot in warm weather.
Quality: Construction seems to be very good.
Summary: These are very comfortable boots and seem well constructed, easy to get on and off. I prefer the styling of other brands of ropers to these but that is not a big problem for me. Ropers are do anything all day/everyday types of boots and these fit the bill. So far they seem worth the money I spent.
