Purchase: Purchased a Hanovarian mare 15.3hh; as part of the deal she came with her Bridle.

Likes: I like the leather in the bridle. The bridle has the double padded soft crown, which I love. The nose band is pliable and maintains a good shape, no gapping areas noted. Compared to my Stubben, which I paid $350 for, I find the craftmanship similar. I was quite surprised to find the actual retail price for this bridle averaged $100-$140.

Dislikes: Concerns on the market now are that the bridle may not be produced with the same integrity. My bridle must not be a part of the shipped out (over sea manufactured) items, as I was really pleased with this bridle.

Quality: Good, pliable leather, no sign of fading or cracking and I have utilized this Bridle; nearly daily use. The buckles are durable and the leather loops have remained intact, no ripping with frequent adjustments to the noseband or throat latch. My mare is a bridle rubber too and the bridle has held up.

Summary: I was pleased with the quality of the bridle. I would be concerned as a new purchaser to purchase the bridle if the item had to be shipped as I have heard there is concern with continuity of standards during production (made in India). My bridle does not show any of these signs, maybe I purchased a more vintage model?
