Purchase: Bought at Dover Saddlery for 98$

Likes: Very well fitting. Long lasting. Great for schooling. Love the hardware and buckle ends on the cheek pieces and reins. Stands up to the rigors of schooling eventing. The flash strap is reinforced so it will not tear off. Love the rich dark color. Its not quite chocolate but not so dark to be considered havana. Excellent for daily use but i would reccomend a nicer more forgiving bridle for show days. Cleans up nicely enough tho for those with a small budget.

Dislikes: Very stiff leather i have been oiling it over and over and its still incredibly stiff and unforgiving. I dont really like the traditional crown with the leather being so tough. Im hoping it will get better with time.

Quality: Very well made. Stands the test of time. Just again the traditional non padded crown and very stiff leather knock it down a bit

Summary: Excellent for schooling and starting out. Very reasonably priced bridle. Worth the investment. Looks good enough to go from schooling to show for those on a budget or people like me who ride many different horses every day and need a good solid bridle that can take a beating and keep getting back up. Its an event bridle for an event rider.
