Purchase: I purchased this bridle new, on eBay, from an eBay store, tackrus. I have a large medium welsh pony but he has a really tiny face and won't fit into a cob bridle. I've been looking for a nice yet inexpensive pony bridle for him. I don't expect a whole lott from a bridle under $100 but anything would be better than what he's been wearing. The listing for the bridle started at $64 and I was the only bidder. Yeah!
Likes: This is the nicest bridle you could possibly get for $65. I've paid much more for bridles that are not as good quality. Out of the package the leather felt nice. One piling and it feels like a $200+ bridle. It is padded-a lot- raised and stitched.
Side note-what I especially love is it came with reins and they have buckles and not the little sliding clip. Cheek pieces also have buckles.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like is because of the way the buckles are on the cheek pieces, the buckles remain on the outside. It's better for the pony's face, but it looks a little awkward because we are all used to the attachment being inside. But for the quality of this bridle imam ready to replace all of my school horses old bridles with this!
Quality: The bridle has a
Monocrown head stall where the noseband feeds through the top. Another high quality feature. Comes with reins. Soft leather. Passes raised and stitched. Reins and cheek pieces have buckles.
Summary: I've this bridle and will buy more. And my pony felt super fancy wearing it!
