Purchase: I bought this blanket on ebay for $32 from horseloverz.
Likes: This is much better quality than I was expecting. My horse has gone through two winters in this blanket and it's still in great shape. The only rips in it are on the inside in the lining (somehow another horse buddy got a hold of it and ripped it). It is warm and has leg straps, belly and chest straps and fits her pretty well.
Dislikes: It is made of breathable material, but if it gets wet inside it needs to hung somewhere warm to dry or it will stay wet. It does repel water, but I don't usually leave my horse out when it's raining so I can't really say how waterproof it is. I think I would also prefer the high-neck version as this (like most blankets) tends to settle into one place on the neck and stay there and then creates pressure points by the withers.
Quality: The construction is better than I expected. It has had two seasons of use and hasn't come apart yet- for $32 that's pretty good!
Summary: A great deal.
