Purchase: I bought the stable loafers at Ritchie feed in Brockville, Ontario Canada. I paid a clearance price of $25. They were size 11 ladies red. The clerk said they were regularly $129 and the rep had them in his truck, the only pair left.
Likes: I love the excellent quality of leather. It is soft and feels like calf leather. The one great feature is the inserts come out and can be replaced or you have replace them with orthotics or gel inserts. The other feature I love about them is they have steel shanks in the bottom to protect your foot.
Dislikes: Another great feature is the elastic on the sides of the tongue which stretches when putting your foot in and is then a snug fit afterwards. My feet ached in my other shoes and in wearing these loafers the pain disappeared. They are extremely comfortable, solid, yet not heavy
Quality: The construction of the unit is definitely high quality product, materials, the leather and also the fact they are water,proofed and oil stain resistant is another great feature. The bottom of the shoes is black rubber which is super for protecting the shoes in damp wet conditions.
Summary: I will be definitely looking for more pairs of the stable loafers. I'm hoping to get them in black. They are too almost identical to a pair is shoes my partner loved and they are no longer available or made, so he was thrilled and will be picking some up for himself too. Thanks for making such a superior product. It would be great if you added a steel toe in them too that would protect the toes if a horse stands on ones foot. Needless to say I love them
